Returns and Cancellations Policy

Overview

We want you to love your furniture. This policy explains how to cancel an order, when and how you can return items, and how refunds work. It applies alongside your statutory rights, which it does not replace.

Cancelling an order

You can cancel an order any time before it has been dispatched by contacting us at support@mansafurniture.com with your order number. When you cancel, we may exchange the item for another of equivalent value, give you store credit, or issue a refund within 10 days. If you paid by credit card and the cancellation is not for a reason attributable to us or our service, the credit card processing fee may be deducted from your refund. Once an order has shipped, it is treated as a return under the sections below. For made-to-order or bespoke pieces, please contact us as soon as possible: once production has begun these orders can no longer be cancelled free of charge, and a penalty of between 40% and 100% of the product's value will be deducted from any refund, depending on how far production has progressed.

Return window

For other customers, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery for eligible items. Items must be unused and in their original, resalable condition with all packaging, tags, and protective materials. On arrival, returns are inspected by our team before a refund is approved. Change-of-mind returns are subject to the deductions described under Return costs and deductions below. There is no minimum order value for returns.

Condition of returned items

Returned furniture must be unused, undamaged, and complete, including hardware and packaging. We may reduce a refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the item, such as assembly, use, stains, or scratches.

Items that cannot be returned

Unless faulty or not as described, the following are not eligible for return: made-to-order or custom pieces, items personalized to your specifications, clearance or final-sale items, and gift cards. We will tell you at checkout when an item is made to order.

How to start a return

Email support@mansafurniture.com with your order number and the items you wish to return. We will confirm whether the items are eligible and send return instructions, including the return address and how collection will be arranged for larger pieces. Please do not ship items back before receiving instructions.

Return costs and deductions

For change-of-mind returns you are responsible for the cost of return, and a number of deductions may be applied to your refund: a return collection fee based on the delivery distance and the number of items; a handling/restocking fee, which is variable but typically around 5% of the product's value; and, where you paid by credit card, the card processing fee (approximately 3.5%). We will quote the return collection cost before arranging it. None of these deductions apply when the return is due to our error — for example a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item — in which case we cover the cost of return in full.

Refunds

Submitting a return or refund request does not by itself mean it is approved: once we receive the item it goes through a quality check, and we will tell you whether the refund is approved and, if not, the reason. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within the following timeframes:

Original delivery charges are refunded for faulty or incorrect items but not for change-of-mind returns. Refunds to a credit card may be reduced by the card processing fee (approximately 3.5%), and the other return deductions described above may also apply.

Damaged or faulty items

Visible or superficial damage must be reported at the time of delivery, when our team inspects the items together with you (see our Delivery Policy); we are not responsible for superficial damage reported after the furniture has been received. Hidden defects related to a product's malfunction or its construction or manufacturing may be reported at any time within the product's warranty period — one year for most furniture, though this varies by product and is shown on each product page. Once you notice a manufacturing defect, please report it promptly: claims must be made within one month of discovering the defect to remain valid (or any longer period required by mandatory law in your country). Contact us at support@mansafurniture.com with your order number and photos, and we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to you, in line with your legal rights and the consumer warranty in our Terms.

Orders not received

If your order has not arrived within 15 business days of the expected delivery date, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier. Where an order is confirmed lost in transit, you may choose a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original (where eligible) for a refund and place a new order.

Right of withdrawal for orders in the EU/UK

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To exercise it, tell us within that period at support@mansafurniture.com. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods. This right does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized.
