Rikke Frost is a Danish industrial designer who creates functional, durable, homocentric designs. She graduated from the School of Architecture in Aarhus and established her own studio in the same city in 2004. Her work is based on a clear design principle defined by three words: Minimal – Magical – Mindful.
Frost applies these principles from the early stages of ideation through the materialization of the product. She reflects deeply on human behavior, materials and environmental impact, aiming to minimize resource use and align with her clients’ production methods. By way of tactile details, meaningful functions and elements that invite exploration and reflection, she aims to embed magical moments into her designs.
